She set out to create something that embodied all of the beautiful places she had been, so Emily taught herself to design and sew and, within months, Saturday Swimwear was born.
During her travels, Emily noticed the devastating effects of over-consumption, pollution, and the fast fashion industry. Emily understood that as a maker she must also be a mover and a shaker. That is why she decided to shift the entire focus of the company towards being more sustainable.
